What's happening in there! |
What's happening is that I'm putting the final touches on a snowman made of sand. You can see the blue box for the snowman kit in lower right hand corner.
I spent about an hour and a half building a mound of sand about three and half feet high.
After creating this massive heap of sand, I carved out a lot of sand at the base,
and created two ledges with small overhangs on the resulting cone of sand.
Then it was time to apply the Snowman Kit pieces.
While I was building the pile of sand, a number of kids came by wondering what I was doing.
Many of these children volunteered to add a little sand to the growing heap.
Their help and delight in the project helped see it to the end.
